right now I need that smiley from neopets that's bawling its eyes out. I have just made the most important decision in my life so far. I will go to Harvey Mudd College My mother is so completely and totally against it she is in a rage... no... now she's over the rage. she was angry, depressed, suicidal even, furious just plain EMOTIONAL over it all and I knew she would be but now... now it really feels like I have betrayed everyone and everything... Everything is falling apart my dad supports me my teachers, my friends, support me my mom hates the decision I've made, feels like I'm making a big BIG mistake, feels like she failed, feels like I failed... I just want to sit here and cry. and now I have a KILLER headache that will linger until saturday or sunday. It's just not fair. this is my one chance to go to college, to be, to exist, to choose... and my mom will not support me in it. right when I need her. right when I am starting to venture out on my own. right when I'm becoming... being... when I am an adult... right whne I need her to be there to let me go... she's left me hanging. i need her. I need her to love me and to support the fact that I am an intelligent human being who can make a decision and stick with it, and who can believe that I'm right... because I know I am. *sigh* |
