Well hello world! or the relatively small world, that is, of people who actually read MY blog...
Not much in the news here, except there was a HORRIBLE physics midterm this morning. ick. Things coming up/due: revised abstract A5 letter to mah doctor so I can get a flu shot Phys Honors paper Xmas cards to the places that gave me scholarships. This is all relatively due by Friday; I really need to get cracking on A5; it's a horrendously long assignment. I anticipate it taking me 40 hours to complete if I want to do it right, so 20 hours of that should be by this Friday. Other than that, it's just study study study and finals finals finals. I can't WAIT for finals to be over, so I can write. Speaking of which; it is DECEMBER. Which is the month after November! and November was National Novel Writing Month again! I didn't put the story up in its own separate blog, and I'm not going to. Instead, please find it right here! This is a great site (called FictionPress) that holds all of my stories in relatively story-like format; meaning that the latest one will not be backwards! Joy! Nano2004 is on there under Book of Whispers: The Next Tale. If you remotely liked BoW part 1, I think you will LOVE this sequel. It's much better written, AND I took a lot of time to work out the majority of the kinks and issues with the first story. For example, Listhan Avres isn't just a mage; he's a faery. Faeries have horns and access to an additional dimension that humans cannot access that gives them magic. I'm also VERY tricky in this latest one... as usual for November, all sorts of plot kinks fit together. And you finally get to see how Shavara Minos connects to Listhan Avres! Anyway... I really enjoy this one so I do tend to spend a lot of time ranting about it. Stop whining about me and go read it. You'll like it. The site also has some of my horrendous, horrendous older short stories and essays on it... that should be interesting. Some of them are very very very bad. But oh well. I'm running on caffeine and very little sleep so I am going to skedaddle now. Ciao! |

Tis a Nano novel) ***Book of Whispers part 1 (Does not jive at all with part 2; needs to be rewritten to fit and to have less suckage) ***Book of Whispers part 2 (Needs some rehaul editing, needs some loose ends tied up, needs to fit) ***Book of Whispers part 3 (Needs to be finished... then needs to die o.o Not sure if I need a third part in the series) ***Dium's Story (Needs a point, progress, anything... needs to be integrated into Tbook1, since that is what it is a part of, mainly) ***Trio Story with Jackie and Louise (Maybe we should get together and work on this, guys) ***Demon Story (This is working out pretty good so far. I like the plot, it's a bit convoluted, and the characters are interesting) ***New Witch Story (It's only 30 pages long, dang) ***Dragon's Voices (This has SO much potential! wee!) | |
