There was recently a very minute debate between me and Peter the H. in my lab... concerning the poem JABBERWOCKY!, which is an excellent thing by Lewis Carroll in Through the Looking Glass. The debate was concerning whether it was the word 'frabjous' or 'frabulous' that appeared in the poem as an exclamation of goodness or joy. I said frabjous I won. hehehehehehe. Anyway, for your VIEWING pleasure... mmph http://www.jabberwocky.com/carroll/jabber/ oh so fun. o.o by Lewis Carroll (from Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There, 1872) `Twas brillig, and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe: All mimsy were the borogoves, And the mome raths outgrabe. "Beware the Jabberwock, my son! The jaws that bite, the claws that catch! Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun The frumious Bandersnatch!" He took his vorpal sword in hand: Long time the manxome foe he sought --So rested he by the Tumtum tree, And stood awhile in thought. And, as in uffish thought he stood, The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame, Came whiffling through the tulgey wood, And burbled as it came! One, two! One, two! And through and through The vorpal blade went snicker-snack! He left it dead, and with its head He went galumphing back. "And, has thou slain the Jabberwock? Come to my arms, my beamish boy! O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!' He chortled in his joy. `Twas brillig, and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe; All mimsy were the borogoves, And the mome raths outgrabe. *pats it* Frabjous, frabjous indeed. Life is busy. Presentation Wednesday, Final next week thursday, work project SHOULD be done by this Thursday, I suppose. how ridiculous. *sniffs* too much to do for work and life. Have to go over Don's designs, contact Skyvision, call the doctor, the dentist, the financial aid place, and my scholarship places; have to order piping and flanges from Menards, call the Menards girl back about my pricing, order 4x8 boards, order ballast, order a cart for the antennas, fix all the papers and publications for the webpage, organize the inventory-necessary items, assemble the bases, attach the motor to the antenna and then to the base, finish wiring the receiver and ground control boards, test both boards... *panics* GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!! *twitch* |

***Tbook1 (Time and Chaos, needs a new name, needs to be edited) ***Book of Sun (Just needs to be edited. Tis a Nano novel) ***Book of Whispers part 1 (Does not jive at all with part 2; needs to be rewritten to fit and to have less suckage) ***Book of Whispers part 2 (Needs some rehaul editing, needs some loose ends tied up, needs to fit) ***Book of Whispers part 3 (Needs to be finished... then needs to die o.o Not sure if I need a third part in the series) ***Dium's Story (Needs a point, progress, anything... needs to be integrated into Tbook1, since that is what it is a part of, mainly) ***Trio Story with Jackie and Louise (Maybe we should get together and work on this, guys) ***Demon Story (This is working out pretty good so far. I like the plot, it's a bit convoluted, and the characters are interesting) ***New Witch Story (It's only 30 pages long, dang) ***Dragon's Voices (This has SO much potential! wee!) | ![]() |

Sounds like you're having fun.
I did my presentation for Prof. Reynolds today and he was suprised at how well I did it (yay debate and extemp background!)
How's your story going? Mine's stalled now at about half way since my computer is being fixed. I should work on it on another computer. I don't know... need motivation for that...
