Today was a trip to the apple orchard; I also stopped at my sister's place and picked up my hermit crab, Brat Boy. He's lonely; I shall have to get him a friend soon. *gasp* yay! 50 reasons why you should see Serenity I need to see Advent Children. That simple. MUST see it. I know I'm late and all but it is pretty high on the list right now. Pity that I'm shitload of busy this week, as usual. I decided not to apply to a position on the Illumination because I can't afford to give them a decent time dedication. Makes me a little sad, but... still, it had to be done. Things I *did* successfully do this week: finish the rough draft of my Gigantic A210 Paper of Doom, finish my math and physics homework on time, and read Things Fall Apart. I am in the middle of a lot of books now so that makes life interesting. I also have to find 11 papers, ten for the lit review/annotated bibliography and 1 for the presentation thing I have to do over the weekend. I did a lot at work though; made the posters, got internet, delegated. Delegating's kind of important, I think, because sometimes it really seems like I'm doing everything and they do nothing, even though they *can't* do half the stuff because it's computerish and computerish stuff sucks but I'm the only one of us three who actually knows anything about it. *sigh* I have an idea for this Nano's novel! Something about the old cliche of a princess/maiden being kidnapped by a dragon. I was going to play off of Patricia C Wrede in that the girl has to work for the dragon, but make it less sarcastic/funny and make it more serious, descriptive, whatever... Dunno if it's going to happen or not. I need some time to sit around and think about it. yoy |

Tis a Nano novel) ***Book of Whispers part 1 (Does not jive at all with part 2; needs to be rewritten to fit and to have less suckage) ***Book of Whispers part 2 (Needs some rehaul editing, needs some loose ends tied up, needs to fit) ***Book of Whispers part 3 (Needs to be finished... then needs to die o.o Not sure if I need a third part in the series) ***Dium's Story (Needs a point, progress, anything... needs to be integrated into Tbook1, since that is what it is a part of, mainly) ***Trio Story with Jackie and Louise (Maybe we should get together and work on this, guys) ***Demon Story (This is working out pretty good so far. I like the plot, it's a bit convoluted, and the characters are interesting) ***New Witch Story (It's only 30 pages long, dang) ***Dragon's Voices (This has SO much potential! wee!) | |
