Fwee for writing all last night and a few goodly hours this morning as well--I got to 13.7k. And then I died. *snicker* no, then Manga took over. Louise being all uber kick ass and all decided to give me more manga than I could read in a day. So I read two...books worth of Bleach Manga and the first Inuyasha manga *le hugs Louise until her head falls off* oops, I broke her o.o Yeah but by the time that was over I had to go to work. Figured out (at work) why the board wasn't working--one of the chips on an IC popped off today. IC is a lil mini circuit board that you slap onto your big circuit board to do something complicated, like handle communications. No wonder my computer didn't tell me it was getting feed back--the piece was BROKEN when it fell off. Sam the awesome soldering guy spent an hour getting the 14-pin piece out of the board so I could send it back, and then when I finally got to the main lab to see where I got it from, the Z: drive (which is where I have everything stored) was down and will continue to be down for a couple of days. So, things I have left to do at work: Mill the pipes (tomorrow. Yay kerosene) order ballast (yaargh. tomorrow) order new Stamp ICs order new lightning arrestors return the old lightning arrestors (for the wrong frequency) return the old crappy Stamp ICs (for being busted) print posters organize folders Email purchase order numbers for the three places to everyone pick up the 39nH inductors from the electronic shop. It's highly probably that the first and last items are the only things I get done. I am a horrible procrastinator and if I don't spend 8 hours at work the time seems to just disappear in a poof of smoke. Maybe I'll manage to come in on the weekend and fix up the printing of the posters and the folders and all that crap. Then again, let's see my homework list Spanish (tomorrow) Physics (monday) Annotated bibliography (wednesday) Giant Scary A210 Paper of Doom Rough Draft #2 (Monday) A210 reading (woman at point zero, god's bits of wood) ... isn't there anything else??? how odd. So little homework! But a lot of that is time consuming reading. I also need to: Write Organize my desk again Filter the pictures so mom can have that CD Go grocery shopping buy more utensils/mechanical pencils (?) Go christmas shopping Cash my last bursar's office check wow I'm kind of amazed. There's so little that's actually due! But I have to get the homework/work done, I *have* to. they look like very few things but they are big big BIG. Not very coherent tonight. Updated the sidebar. Got free sugar from the cafeteria... twice. It was odd. |
