Gretchen, if you read this, I don't know your email address and tragically I don't seem to know your last name either o.o llaaaaaaaaaaaaaamas but I took the giant paper of doom into the professor and had him tear it apart. If I work hard tonight I can take it in tomorrow and do that again. He basically said that I'm concentrating too much on finding the moral in the story... which confuses me because my thesis is supposed to explain WHY it's significant that the gazelle mirrors the dude, right? How can I talk about significance without explaining the conclusion I draw? *shruuuuuuuuuuug* He also wanted me to focus more on the patterns in the story which I realize I didn't do! So that I can fix. The repetitions, the rise and the fall, the two outer layers... he also said I had a good writing style and wrote clearly and that if I fixed this shit up it would be an A paper. an A paper brings my grade up HALF A MARK that means an AB can become an A or a B can become an AB. I'd really like an A so I think I'll work my ass off on this paper today. I have to register for classes today, and work, and I have the UPS meeting, and I need to go to Scifi club if ONLY to see Le Awesome Gretchen who is cool like shiznit. Poor Louise... too much crap going on for her. My major projects, etc, seem to have petered out until after thanksgiving (when they all pile up again. |
