*slaps spammers around* where are they coming from? I have officially earned a new title as of yesterday. Just call me The Killer of One Million Ladybugs. Asian beetles actually. We went on a cleaning binge up to the Observatory on the Distant Hill (aka Pine Bluff) so we could prepare the white garage and the c-house for having a telescope in them this year. maybe. When we got inside the place looked pretty messy but not too bad, so I volunteered for the sweeping miniteam. Big mistake. the place was OVERRUN with asian beetles... millions of them. Half of them were still alive, and underneath EVERYTHING (old vacuum cleaners, plywood sheets, scaffolding) thousands had congregated trying to stay warm. So every time I picked something up they flew at me all vicious like and I had to kill them. Imagine sweeping mounds and piles the size of large pillows of squirming, moving, climbing asian beetles, writhing on top of the dusty remnants of their dead fellows. *shudders* and then when I got home and went to bed last night there was one in the ROOM. I had to kill it. Bastard. Leave me the fuck alone. Other than that, I'm up to 17k for nano. Maybe I'll add 5k more tonight if I'm lucky. Or maybe I'll crack down and do the homework project that is due Wednesday and work on the paper draft I need for Tuesday and the spanish homework for Monday *laughs* maybe. |

I am so impressed by your skillz!! I get queasy at the thought of killing creatures but I'm definitely a xenophobe about large masses of insects. I interact well with them on individual levels, but... ew to millions of them!
I don't understand you people writing 5k in one day. Seriously, WTF!!!!
