And at long last the weekend has come upon us. It's been a long, long week folks. To recap: The ups: bought a loft for the apartment for $20 finished my presentation and my lab got an A on my medieval studies test had a psych class cancelled took an extra credit quiz took a linux class heard from my mentor on mentornet had an easy physics lecture convinced the astro department to move Stellar Astrophysics so that it doesn't conflict with E&M next semester feel like I lost weight aaaand the downs: have come to realize truly how much shit I have to do got rejected from the MIT REU gave a really crappy presentation today that I feel bad about planned out my future courses and thusly realized I have to take 3 math/sci courses at a minimum to get my degree next semester, and every semester for the rest of my time here. yech :P spent a bunch of money on peanut m&ms and gorged myself on them and feel slightly sick got annoyed at my new spiffy jacket (the outside material is slightly more than the inside material... so it doesn't flow at all well when I have my backpack on, plus it looks stupid with my crappy pants) put a hole and two big ink stains on my good pair of pants (thusly being forced to wear said crappy pants) ended up staying at the physics building until 11:30 pm on a FRIDAY NIGHT just to finish a lab that my partner and I did TONS of extra work on so that we could get a 10/10 instead of an 8.5 only to hear the TA say that we definitely had 9/10 work and 'maybe even higher'... -.- ugh I'm burned out. lots of stuff left to do for the weekend. I have to catch up on my math, psych, physics, and MS reading/notes; consolidate math, psych, physics, and MS notes so that they take up less space in their binders; finish the NCUR presentation; start math homework; start physics homework; start physics extra credit; start psych homework; start psych extra credit; start giant psych paper; start giant MS paper; start MS mini paper; type up a .txt file for Will right quick to put on my webpage for the Day of Silence to recognize domestic violence and rape; set up a dentist appointment, dammmit!; apply for scholarships; work (badly); shower; karate a couple of times too; and hang out with my sister and my mom for four hours on saturday. and I think I have a four hour CS class on photoshop this weekend... I think I will cancel that. I have a lot to do. and right now I want to do nothing more than read webcomics until I fall into bed. But I should study something or do something. uuuuuuugh deep breaths. half the semester is over and I did EXCELLENTLY for that half. Solid As in math and MS, AB going towards A with the extra credit in Psych, and... a ... B in physics, I think (I want to make that better but it all hinges on whether or not I can actually get my extra credit done). And even though my lab grade looks like a B right around now, the prof said he'd probably curve because our TA grades harshly so maybe that'll be an AB. And hopefully an A in URS. I can't wait to register for next semester. I absolutely LOVE planning out my classes ... taking them of course is another matter entirely :D Anyway, for next semester I am going to take E&M, Astrophysica, and Applied Math. These three will be very challenging courses, I think, but they are junior level so they should be okay... oh who am I kidding... they look horribly hard but I need all of them and I need them all *now* pretty much. And then of course that isn't enough credits so I'm taking a Survey of Africa course... which is a social science and it helps towards my african studies certificate, joy. Anyway, then I will work at my lab for a lab credit equivalent to the evil lab 407 that I don't want to have to take. So that's 4 classes + lab. BUT... they offer this age of the dinosaurs class, online, for two bio credits. and everybody says it's the frickin easiest class here--literally 15 minutes a week worth of reading, and everything online so you can have your notes out when you test. And I need two bio credits. so I'm pretty sure I'll take that, too. Which is dumb because then I'm taking 6 courses, again. but of course one of them is my work. this semester I'm taking six classes AND working on top of that. And I don't have any truly pathetically easy courses. Of course I'm not taking three science math courses too... oh... wait... 311, 308, and 340. oh. so yes, I am taking three science courses... of course 308's the 1 credit lab but it does take 12 hours a week worth of work... hmm... I'd like to say I think I can handle it. the truth is I'm afraid that I can't. and I'll register for them all anyway and try to walk forward confidently at the start of the semester. Yay for me insisting on my own self confidence. blah okay, enough talk and blather. bed for me. or kill bill, or something entertaining that requires no brain, because mine has seeped out my ear |

***Tbook1 (Time and Chaos, needs a new name, needs to be edited) ***Book of Sun (Just needs to be edited. Tis a Nano novel) ***Book of Whispers part 1 (Does not jive at all with part 2; needs to be rewritten to fit and to have less suckage) ***Book of Whispers part 2 (Needs some rehaul editing, needs some loose ends tied up, needs to fit) ***Book of Whispers part 3 (Needs to be finished... then needs to die o.o Not sure if I need a third part in the series) ***Dium's Story (Needs a point, progress, anything... needs to be integrated into Tbook1, since that is what it is a part of, mainly) ***Trio Story with Jackie and Louise (Maybe we should get together and work on this, guys) ***Demon Story (This is working out pretty good so far. I like the plot, it's a bit convoluted, and the characters are interesting) ***New Witch Story (It's only 30 pages long, dang) ***Dragon's Voices (This has SO much potential! wee!) | ![]() |
