And the morning and the evening were the fourth day of break...

hahahaha... uh..

Right, so it's Tuesday, day four of break. First day of having internet again, oh joy.

Saturday we shipped up to MN and I hung out with Katie and chatted. I knew from AIM that college had matured her and physical presence proved that--she has indeed changed, but she is still wonderful (if anything major, then better than before). It was great seeing her again. While I was waiting for her I wrote for the Demonstory and thought about how great of a break it was turning out to be--coffee, a notebook, anticipation of great friends... *sigh* yes, it was wonderful. Then there was the swimming and the practicing Karate underwater and the sleeping in nice beds and the tea, yes.

Then Sunday we went down to visit my older sister and ALMOST got stuck in a horrible snow storm... fortunately when we left we were heading south so we got out of it! yay!

Unfortunately, when I got home Sunday I came to realize that I had lost my check card -.- doh! panic ensued. I cancelled the thing and thusly was screwed for cash for the next few days.

Monday I went shopping (had to borrow from the twin-sis so as to be able to afford it) for the conference. I got a decent pair of black pants that actually fit, a pair of shoes that I hate but I am assured they look professional, three nice shirts for the conference, and... a new winter coat! The coat was the most expensive but it is everything I ever wanted from a winter coat-- it fits, it is fake leather/fur like, brown, long--the first time I tried it on I kept laughing because I look like a mix of Constantine and Mal Reynolds... and it's very warm, and the more I wear it the more I like it. Plus it blows in the wind all neat like.

Speaking of wind, there were thunderstorms here sunday and monday night--mmm lightning and thunder, yay!

Wednesday, besides running errands with Stefi and a bit after I dropped her off, I bussed down to campus, to the big library, and I've spent two hours working on my Medieval Studies large term research paper. Most of that time has merely been searching for and finding books. There's a huge collection of feminist theory work that's applicable to what I'm doing but I can't find any of the traditional analyses that the feminists would be against.

In other words, I'm researching 'Women and Power in Eden' or other creation myths... I'm not sure if I should do all sorts of creation myths from all sorts of cultures, but there is so much text just for Genesis that I don't think I'll be able to, or have time.

Ah well. back to work. This today, taxes tonight, conference presentation preparation tomorrow, FAFSA tomorrow night, and then psychology paper the rest of the weekend if I can. and working on the lab, doing extra credit physics, extra math study problems... gaaaaaaah. I am already short on time and it's only Tuesday.

Stories I'm currently working on.

***Tbook1 (Time and Chaos, needs a new name, needs to be edited)

***Book of Sun (Just needs to be edited. Tis a Nano novel)

***Book of Whispers part 1 (Does not jive at all with part 2; needs to be rewritten to fit and to have less suckage)

***Book of Whispers part 2 (Needs some rehaul editing, needs some loose ends tied up, needs to fit)

***Book of Whispers part 3 (Needs to be finished... then needs to die o.o Not sure if I need a third part in the series)

***Dium's Story (Needs a point, progress, anything... needs to be integrated into Tbook1, since that is what it is a part of, mainly)

***Trio Story with Jackie and Louise (Maybe we should get together and work on this, guys)

***Demon Story (This is working out pretty good so far. I like the plot, it's a bit convoluted, and the characters are interesting)

***New Witch Story (It's only 30 pages long, dang)

***Dragon's Voices (This has SO much potential! wee!)
