You don't marry someone you can live with, you marry the person who you cannot live without. - Author Unknown - I worked intensively all day, then had my meeting at 3:30, wherein I learned that I had actually not done the right thing all day, but had rather forgotten several aspects of each graph I made. I also got assigned a CRAPLOAD of more work to do. Well, not assigned. It was just discussed in more detail so I more fully comprehended the enormity of all the various things I had to do. urgh We watched Tron--good movie! completely nerdy; we need to watch it for Sci Fi Club next year. Today was also nerdy shopping day. We went to the Shoe Carnival, and I got three pairs of shoes. I have no idea how they're getting home, but it was less than $30 for all three pairs, and two of them were comfy sandals--of which I need more anyway. I feel so girly, teehee o_0 That wasn't the nerdy part. This is. We ended up at this BuyBacks store, where I got the ENTIRE season of Record of Lodoss War for $20, a Smash Mouth cd for $2, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand the original star wars special edition trilogy vhs for $2. TWO BUCKS! insane! we are definitely going back there. Chris also picked up Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere (DVD) for I think $20, and we're going to burn and trade for free :) Chris also burned me a season of Dr. Who (the good version with the living plastic). Then we went to the planetarium and saw Jupiter (I could see stripes on it!) and its 4 moons (bonus points to anyone who can name the four moons for me off the top of their head), Saturn (resplete with wings--frickin AWESOME), and Mars (rather a blurry red dot, but still cool). In addition, a double star Ablieroboboroonieon or something (xD just kidding, I don't remember the name. it was around Vega) It's Friday night so my roommates/friends are probably going to be drinking until late. I want to watch a couple episodes of Black Lagoon, download more FMA manga (the Inuyasha manga is no longer being uploaded, T.T), maybe start RoLW, a little Firefly... who knows. Or write. That would be nice. Write and rip music :) |

***Tbook1 (Time and Chaos, needs a new name, needs to be edited) ***Book of Sun (Just needs to be edited. Tis a Nano novel) ***Book of Whispers part 1 (Does not jive at all with part 2; needs to be rewritten to fit and to have less suckage) ***Book of Whispers part 2 (Needs some rehaul editing, needs some loose ends tied up, needs to fit) ***Book of Whispers part 3 (Needs to be finished... then needs to die o.o Not sure if I need a third part in the series) ***Dium's Story (Needs a point, progress, anything... needs to be integrated into Tbook1, since that is what it is a part of, mainly) ***Trio Story with Jackie and Louise (Maybe we should get together and work on this, guys) ***Demon Story (This is working out pretty good so far. I like the plot, it's a bit convoluted, and the characters are interesting) ***New Witch Story (It's only 30 pages long, dang) ***Dragon's Voices (This has SO much potential! wee!) | ![]() |

Oooh, let me know how the Neverwhere DVD is - Neverwhere was the first Gaiman book I ever read and I loved it.
Christopher Eccleston makes my heart skip beats... particularly in the later eps right about when Captain Jack Harkness turns up *swoon*
the Neverwhere show sucks. We watched the first disc of it before the made-for-TV-BBC-movie charm had completely worn off and our brains started to melt. We skipped forward to the part with the cow and strapped on horns as the Beast of London before our brains started dripping out of our ears with boredom.
Then again, Neverwhere was disappointing and ultimately a little too predictable in general. But American Gods is awesome. As is Sandman. And Mirrormask (which, actually, is also predictable but is worth it cuz it's PRETTY). And Wolves in the Walls and Coraline are great, too. Neil Gaiman is usually pretty amazing. Neverwhere... not so much.
I'm glad you had fun shopping!!
