War Sucks, truly. And that piece is remarkably well written. Gosh darn it, does anyone know how to give posts titles? There's no box for one, *tear* A month or two shy of two years after we first met, Louise makes me cry again. :) This time it's probably for a much better reason though--gorrammit, can she write. My casual indignation at Bush's senseless veto of a bill for causes it doesn't even influence has been fanned into a righteous fury. Wanna print out what she wrote and send it around the world. Grrr... And then she makes Black Lagoon wallpapers. *worships* looooove yooooooooouuuuuuuu So here I am, 5pm on a Friday four days before my final presentation and two weeks before I leave, plugging away and clicking on stars. I want to go home and download and burn some anime, but it's weight-lifting day so that means ~ 2 hours at the gym ( 15 min to walk there, 5 to get ready, 30 min lifting, 5 min switch/situps/stretch, 35 min ellipticalling, 5 min ready, 5 min to walk home) before I get to go do that. On the bright side, it *is* the weekend. Tomorrow at midnight we celebrate Chris' 21st, which should be pretty hectic considering who we all live with. That is, each other. And no one's gotten drunk in almost a week! or maybe two... So it looks like writing and doing anime-type-stuff--after hanging out with the Hot Birthday Boy (shhh! yes, I like Chris, it's true. Too shy to do anything about it though). For your amusement, I present you with a snippit of real conversation from today: H: Wow, I guess we really like two different types of music. Me: I don't know, I really like a lot of things. This is just one CD that I happen to have. H: *laughs just a little* well I really like music that doesn't suck. Me: *stunned silence* H: *after a brief wait* *little laugh* I like saying that to people, you know, because nobody doesn't listen to music that doesn't suck. Me: *a silent WTF* xD! |
