Since I so duly note the downs I should also note the ups, and there have been many of them.

Got to spend a lot of time with Kaylee yesterday (some 5 hours in a row, quite rare for me, before bed) and she is even cuter over a prolonged period of time.

Since I was so gray Saturday, and the football ticket fiasco (basically the girl buying my tickets wasn't at the meeting place at the right time, and I waited an hour in the growing cold, and she apparently bought someone else's ticket for the one game because she couldn't find me, so I sort've lost out on money, and I only found out about this on Saturday half an hour before the game because my phone didn't work and she never answered her email, and I had to sell that day's ticket to a scalper for $10) ruined my morning and I worked that evening, I was... just... blah. Just completely blah. Questioned my purpose in being here. Being a professional student is no longer appealing to me. There are so many other things I want to be doing.

Anyway, end result = I joined the Ballroom Dancing Team. I'm not going to compete or anything but I get lessons, free admission to some dances and stuff, and use of the practice facilities. I danced for two hours Monday night and my legs ached when I was done. Practiced tonight and I think I'm getting a hang of it (just a little). I've only done the basic step for rumba with some interesting variations and two basic steps and a turn for waltz (I really like the waltz turn but I ended up leading so much that I don't know the follower's steps, and the man usually leads, putting me in an awkward position). Anyway, delightful fun.

Packer game was HORRIBLE :(

what else is delightful?

Oh yes, I have acquired a new and actually functioning cell phone. email me for the number if you want to call it, I get free nights after 7 and free weekends. So delighted by this--it's been a long time since I've been able to call people freely.

On the way to the bus stop (from the coffee joint where I got a mocha two hours ago... oops, that explains the hyper), some boys cut around me, and I said sorry just because I thought I had been in their way. And they laughed and said it was okay, and I said it was the short thing. And then one of them said something along the lines of short being really cool, a sort of "I love you guys." And one of them hugged me and said short people make the best huggers. And the other explained how he loved the fact that his mom was at elbow height. All in all it's probably the most positive male attention I've ever received in my life and it really made me feel ... quite warm and fuzzy inside. Thanks random cute guys, you give me hope.

Sci fi club tomorrow. JOY!

I haven't done any homework, really. I've tried to study and all but I seem to fail at that. I also am pretty miserable and not confident at tutoring (because I don't study for it so I don't know what I'm doing), and that is horrible.

Hoping to improve. And, yes, oddly enough, I am craving a make out session. Erk. that sounds awkward, but hell, it's true.

That's so cool- dancing is harder than it looks!

I always find compliments from strangers a lot more effective than ones from my friends. I guess I feel like people who know me are sort of expected (?) to be nice to me, whereas a complete random stranger has no such social entanglements to compel him to kindness. But then again, friends have the benefit of knowing your good AND bad points, and liking you anyhow. So yeah.

You're awesome. I miss your bubbliness!!! I hope your semester is going better than mine....

Stories I'm currently working on.

***Tbook1 (Time and Chaos, needs a new name, needs to be edited)

***Book of Sun (Just needs to be edited. Tis a Nano novel)

***Book of Whispers part 1 (Does not jive at all with part 2; needs to be rewritten to fit and to have less suckage)

***Book of Whispers part 2 (Needs some rehaul editing, needs some loose ends tied up, needs to fit)

***Book of Whispers part 3 (Needs to be finished... then needs to die o.o Not sure if I need a third part in the series)

***Dium's Story (Needs a point, progress, anything... needs to be integrated into Tbook1, since that is what it is a part of, mainly)

***Trio Story with Jackie and Louise (Maybe we should get together and work on this, guys)

***Demon Story (This is working out pretty good so far. I like the plot, it's a bit convoluted, and the characters are interesting)

***New Witch Story (It's only 30 pages long, dang)

***Dragon's Voices (This has SO much potential! wee!)
