Me: holy... fuck Me: I... fail Katie: sad thing is, I understood In my defense, I was typing sideways. I realized I don't talk much about work here. I wonder if that's because I think you all will find it boring, or if I find it boring myself. Anyway, good work news: a) I got off of work at the library so I was able to study some and then go to the Physics Club movie (young frankenstein, a classic)... and b) my lab got funding again! FWEEEEEE! good things about this: uh, we get to keep the grad students, so the undergrads don't have to do ALL of the research and construction (and the grads are pretty frickin awesome people). and.... uh... well, we can buy parts and things to keep building. Fwee. I forgot to mention that I went to the book sale Wednesday before I saw Lois Lowry. I picked up a copy of Le Morte de Artur, joy of joys... also a book of "Indian and Chinese Wisdom" and Siddharth gave me the name of another book to look for, besides the Gita itself. I snagged all three Assassin books by Robin Hobb (highly recommended by Peter H.), as well as a book of ~450 poems covering about the same number of years. I think that's it. I plan on going back tomorrow morning at 10ish for the $2 a bag to snag a bunch of stuff to sell back to Half Price. Yes, I'm incorrigible. I ended up with a BC on the Math exam--worse than I thought, though more points than I expected. I think this is offset by the A on my lit paper, but I'll have to do an extra lot of studying for the next math exam and hope things turn out all right. |

Tis a Nano novel) ***Book of Whispers part 1 (Does not jive at all with part 2; needs to be rewritten to fit and to have less suckage) ***Book of Whispers part 2 (Needs some rehaul editing, needs some loose ends tied up, needs to fit) ***Book of Whispers part 3 (Needs to be finished... then needs to die o.o Not sure if I need a third part in the series) ***Dium's Story (Needs a point, progress, anything... needs to be integrated into Tbook1, since that is what it is a part of, mainly) ***Trio Story with Jackie and Louise (Maybe we should get together and work on this, guys) ***Demon Story (This is working out pretty good so far. I like the plot, it's a bit convoluted, and the characters are interesting) ***New Witch Story (It's only 30 pages long, dang) ***Dragon's Voices (This has SO much potential! wee!) | |
