Lois Lowry was amazing yesterday. A great public speaker--made me want to drop out of school and read and write all day long. that would be pretty amazing. So three tests coming up next week. Monday is Lit (and I have to prep to tutor the difficult two chapters for physics---argh!). I haven't done any prep yet because it's worth less than the papers and I'm worried about the other two. Tuesday is African. I have reading to catch up on, and I finally stopped taking notes on them. Things go faster but I don't know if I've learned much. I think I'll try the 'notecard or two explaining main concept of chapters'. I need to really reorganize and study my lecture notes and my review questions. *panics* it's not so much that it's hard as it is there's a lot to review. Wednesday is Astro (and tutoring again, argh). This is open notes and open book and open everything but electronic... while I'm well caught up on the lecture notes I am far behind on the reading, and I'd like to do the notecards to outline primary points so it's easier for me to find things. Other school news: 37/70 on my math test! higher than I thought; with the curve that's a BC, lower than I thought. But Allison said she got a BC on the first test too. But Allison's really smart. Ah well. It could have been worse--after all his emails I thought I'd failed it. I don't know if this is good enough to allow myself to get my hair cut, though--and anyway, I'd have to wait until after the tests are over. I should review math, study physics, and write a mini lit paper for some decent points. But I think I'll keep picking at my African reading instead. I have some hopes of putting a dent in it tonight--a significant dent, if not a memorable one. Maybe I should just write. I wish the timetable would come out so I could organize my classes. I wish it were Nano. I wish my tests were over. Bah! |

Tis a Nano novel) ***Book of Whispers part 1 (Does not jive at all with part 2; needs to be rewritten to fit and to have less suckage) ***Book of Whispers part 2 (Needs some rehaul editing, needs some loose ends tied up, needs to fit) ***Book of Whispers part 3 (Needs to be finished... then needs to die o.o Not sure if I need a third part in the series) ***Dium's Story (Needs a point, progress, anything... needs to be integrated into Tbook1, since that is what it is a part of, mainly) ***Trio Story with Jackie and Louise (Maybe we should get together and work on this, guys) ***Demon Story (This is working out pretty good so far.
