Surprisingly enough, this was... an extremely successful weekend, and today continued that trend.

I finished my astro paper AND had time to polish and revise it. I rewrote all of my astro lecture notes in neat and comprehensible format. I set up a study session for lit (next week saturday before I work), put a minor yet important dent in my ever increasing load of african readings, re-read the beginning and the ending of wide sargasso sea, went to lit lecture, got all the parts to solder for the ground control board at work, took out the garbage, took a practice physics GRE, hung out with stefanie, submitted a scholarship, studied physics for tutoring and took notes on it, had a good tutoring session today and clarified tomorrow's mini presentation, and did laundry.

This last bit was hampered by a fscked up dryer, so now ALL my clothes are hanging around my room in various stages of damp, and I'm wearing a skirt to dance lessons--the only item that wasn't washed. Teh suck.

I also saw A Scanner Darkly. I think whoever Keanu Reeves' agent is has been responding to the "he doesn't talk, he just looks pretty" public attitude, because he actually SPEAKS in this movie. Albeit he is basically reading lines from a book and that the cartoon image of him doesn't move its lips, it's still pretty good. Makes me want to read Philip Dick's (is that right?) novel.

I also want to read Jane Eyre (because Wide Sargasso Sea is about Rochester's mad jamaican wife-in-the-attic). And Hamlet. And Gathering Blue so I can have justification for having Lois Lowry sign it.

I haven't had a lot of time to settle in and look at the book festival's schedule yet but I know there are some feminist poetry sessions I'd like to go to, and Neil Gaiman of course (mom is picking me up a copy of Good Omens so he can sign it), and Lois Lowry as well. *is all fwee and excited* I am still considering paying $5 to get an early dibs at the book sale. So many good books, so little time... maybe I should skip class Thursday to go to it when it's open....

NO! what a bad plan!

awww, but books!

errands to run and math to study. I hope this productive trend continues.

Stories I'm currently working on.

***Tbook1 (Time and Chaos, needs a new name, needs to be edited)

***Book of Sun (Just needs to be edited. Tis a Nano novel)

***Book of Whispers part 1 (Does not jive at all with part 2; needs to be rewritten to fit and to have less suckage)

***Book of Whispers part 2 (Needs some rehaul editing, needs some loose ends tied up, needs to fit)

***Book of Whispers part 3 (Needs to be finished... then needs to die o.o Not sure if I need a third part in the series)

***Dium's Story (Needs a point, progress, anything... needs to be integrated into Tbook1, since that is what it is a part of, mainly)

***Trio Story with Jackie and Louise (Maybe we should get together and work on this, guys)

***Demon Story (This is working out pretty good so far. I like the plot, it's a bit convoluted, and the characters are interesting)

***New Witch Story (It's only 30 pages long, dang)

***Dragon's Voices (This has SO much potential! wee!)
