Thank the TEN that the math test is over. Good riddance. Calculating, carefully, the minimum points I could get for each question leaves me with 26/70. *weeps* well last semester's average/B grade was 31/70. maybe this years'll have a nice curve too. I hope so. I really, really hope so. So yesterday after the test was over I hung out with Stefi for four hours and didn't do anything. But it was worth it--I do miss her. Then I went to the library and procrastinated by chatting on AIM and checking out the Nanoforums. I also wrote two pages of a random short story, and a whole poem. Woo! To continue on that productive streak, I read the short story Brokeback Mountain before Lit today, had a fairly successful tutoring session, started my astrophysics homework with friends and finished it at work, read part of my african studies readings, and finished the random math homework that cropped up at noon. WOOHOO! I feel pretty damn great. Unfortunately I walked out of dance practice this evening. The two teachers were just teaching those people doing formation in the upcoming showcase--I and two other girls wanted a review of what we had missed when we skipped on Monday (to study for math), but they weren't interested. I felt.... so belittled. I shouldn't take offense, but I can tell when I'm being shunted to one side. So I came to work early and got all that stuff done. And then Louise and Jackie and Jacki and Katie and Katy and Jon and Rachel all cheered me up; and Jackie and Jacki and Katie and Katy and I had an online study session which helped my productivity. YAY PEOPLE! I guess I will go to scifi club tomorrow--Louise is dropping me the keys and etc, and I want to see Sarah again. and everyone else too. I still have a lot of reading to do to catch up, and notes to take and study to prep myself for the exams. OOO crap, and an astro paper due on Monday. Time for the inevitable list: set up another writing center appointment for the week after midterms for lit paper 2.... ? is this a good time? pay rent for Nov. pay cell phone bill write to clean room vacuum do dishes get a boyfriend or something o_o read Jane Eyre or a good book or something! go over finances buy sled, get hair cut/dyed look into getting passport and shots look into applications for SALT REU, WI REU, Hilldale find time to watch anime with Louise, joy! <3 Math: re-read + notes read ahead + notes EXERCISES dammit Physics: study chapter Astrophysics: read + notes, big time plish draft 1 edit to draft 2 finish final draft, all shiny and polished Lit: organize class notes read ahead do lil paper per week answer all the questions from email for study African: organize class notes read + notes, print all discussion questions answer all discussion questions Hopefully by the time this weekend is over I'll have put big dents in Astro and African, and have finished physics. That is my goal. *sigh* let's see if I can reach it. Come on! stretch! |
