Hmmmm.... part of my pretty essay that discusses how I *fail* at studying on weekends. I march myself down to Memorial Library in the cold air of early Saturday. The world hesitates silently on weekend mornings, when all my fellow students are gleaning their last miserable drops of sleep from behind blurred eyelids and shades never dark enough to keep out the 10 A.M. sun. It’s these particular mornings that I most enjoy seizing, when my feet make the only sound that lasts for miles down empty streets, when for some reason I don’t feel as if I’m already behind. The heat wave as I pass through the revolving doors breaks over my face like spray, fogging my glasses beyond use. I flash my I.D. and skulk via elevator to the 6M floor, pass through rows of Buddhist texts that make my hands tremble with the desire to seize and read, and find myself a cell along the wall that faces the lake. I get one glimpse of it, cold silver in the morning sun, far shores unseen, before settling into my seat and my books and my studies. not much going on here. still got a lot of stuff to do. posts'll be sparse in the next few weeks as I frantically read and study and try to catch up before culminating in finals and collapsing into christmas. |

I like the plot, it's a bit convoluted, and the characters are interesting) ***New Witch Story (It's only 30 pages long, dang) ***Dragon's Voices (This has SO much potential! wee!) | |
