Happy New Year! *throws confetti* Yeah, I know I posted this a bit late but I was busy yesterday at my mom's doing a whole lot of nothing and enjoying it, so neener. Actually ever since I finished my finals I've been doing a whole lot of nothing. I went up to MN for slightly over a week. We had Christmas at my older sister's house and stayed there for a few days; then I drove up to the Twin Cities, spent a few days with my dad, and hung out with Jacki, Rachel, Katie, and Robin, to my delight. I helped my brother build a resume, too, neehahha.

As I already mentioned there was a great deal of movie watching and video game playing. Playing the PS2 at Jacki's house only encouraged me to get my own, and I got a new one so as not to run the risk of a bad laser on a used one. I got four games for cheap from EB Games, they all work fine:

Final Fantasy X: One of the most popular RPGs for the PS2, and it's very very very shiny. I have not gotten very far yet in the half hour that I've played it, but I am already looking forward to it.

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4: This was my discount game! $5 for some simply mind-numbing entertainment. It's fun to do the tricks and all that but this will be mostly a minor game.

Katamari Damacy: Fwee! this game is so much fun! I can't wait to be big enough to roll up people. It's a little challenging (only because of the time limits) but also highly amusing and relatively thought free. A good distraction.

Burnout 3: The reason I settled for a PS2. This game is HIGHLY addicting, especially the Road Rage option where you basically just crash other people's cars all day long. I have a second controller, and this can be done two-player, so if anyone wants some casual stress relief come on over.

I might pick up more games later (guitar hero? genji?) but I am happy with my current selections.
Book Club has started! I picked up my copy of Blindness by Jose Saramago today and it is very good so far.

I need to finish a lot of books and watch a lot of anime over break, and movies too! I am looking forward to Saiunkoku Monogatari and Black Lagoon especially, and maybe I can put dents in Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Lodoss Wars, Jyu Oh Sei, and FMA.

Unfortunately, work must also be done. I am there now but I've run out of things to do until the new computer gets here, so I might go home.

Yay! Hanging out and stuff! Ummm... I work until forever. But we should hang out some evening like next week, hopefully I'll be dealing with life a little bit more vigorously at that point.

I've got the Genji PS2 game... I haven't played more than 1 level, but you're welcome to borrow it if you'd like. :)

Or Dirge of Cerberus, it's awesome!

Stories I'm currently working on.

***Tbook1 (Time and Chaos, needs a new name, needs to be edited)

***Book of Sun (Just needs to be edited. Tis a Nano novel)

***Book of Whispers part 1 (Does not jive at all with part 2; needs to be rewritten to fit and to have less suckage)

***Book of Whispers part 2 (Needs some rehaul editing, needs some loose ends tied up, needs to fit)

***Book of Whispers part 3 (Needs to be finished... then needs to die o.o Not sure if I need a third part in the series)

***Dium's Story (Needs a point, progress, anything... needs to be integrated into Tbook1, since that is what it is a part of, mainly)

***Trio Story with Jackie and Louise (Maybe we should get together and work on this, guys)

***Demon Story (This is working out pretty good so far. I like the plot, it's a bit convoluted, and the characters are interesting)

***New Witch Story (It's only 30 pages long, dang)

***Dragon's Voices (This has SO much potential! wee!)
