Mmmm... Life is busy. as evidenced by the lack of things here. I'm even behind in my writing, but that's understandable. I finally got some research funding for this summer, so I will be able to do the awesome project with my history prof, simultaneous with doing the typing job and working at the library. I got an extension on my giant paper. I am, regardless, markedly doomed on it. What else is there to say? I've been giving a lot of thought to a lot of things, but I don't have the time to devote enough attention to typing them up now. Communism, Feminism, Democracy, politics, religions, idealism, realism, apathy and ignorance, freedoms and responsibilities; my future, my past, what I myself am, what I do to other people, why I do these things, why I don't seem to change, why I procrastinate, why I eat junk food, what it means to be a twin, what it means to be a woman in this time and place, what it means to be a liberal hippie communist (as it were), what it means to be in love, what it means to be infatuated, what it means to pursue someone for the sake of pursuing them versus what it means to pursue someone because you're seriously interested, and how to tell the difference, and whether there is any difference... Poetry, and my intellectual (read, lit based) courses, make me introspective. I don't know if that's a good thing. probably not considering that it's so close to finals. 2.5 weeks left of intense study and work and then BAM awful horrible doomlike exams and then BAM intense intellectual studies. I'm going to be working at the library some 25 hours a week, very pleasant--I assume I can work there while simultaneously doing research and reading. I don't doubt this is probably true. I just hope I can continue to motivate myself. My plans for the summer: Read through my entire bookshelves in this order: fantasy, science fiction, feminism, religion, classics, mystery, other. Do a serious piece of work looking at women in science for my History Prof Go see all the various doctors I need to see Go on at least two road trips (I think I have Chicago with my Mom and up to MN to see friends in August) Catch up on the writing 1 poem a day and writing something for each day of that daily fantasy pic calendar Jackie gave me WRITE something EDIT something Volunteer some evenings at my main lab so I can keep up to date with the project and make some good achievements Finish that typing job watch a slew of awesome movies |

Tis a Nano novel) ***Book of Whispers part 1 (Does not jive at all with part 2; needs to be rewritten to fit and to have less suckage) ***Book of Whispers part 2 (Needs some rehaul editing, needs some loose ends tied up, needs to fit) ***Book of Whispers part 3 (Needs to be finished... then needs to die o.o Not sure if I need a third part in the series) ***Dium's Story (Needs a point, progress, anything... needs to be integrated into Tbook1, since that is what it is a part of, mainly) ***Trio Story with Jackie and Louise (Maybe we should get together and work on this, guys) ***Demon Story (This is working out pretty good so far.
