Reading I have put Sabriel on hold again; so disappointed I didn't get Lirael from bookmooch. I'm up to chapter 250 in One Piece Manga and 109 in D.Gray-man manga... but I've put them and webcomics on hold for a week of getting a lot of work done. Unfortunately I played a lot of Genji and that killed it, but oh well. The list of things I've started and not finished is enormous. Right now for research I'm reading "The Mind Has No Sex?" which is proving quite useful things I would be reading if I had the time for: all the Barbara Hambly I own, which is all of it; the other two dragon books by Naomi Novik; Mists of Avalon; some Robin McKinley, Robin Hobb, Katherine Kerr, Katherine Kurtz; Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman; a ton of poetry; Hogfather by Terry Pratchett; all the Inuyasha manga; Snow Queen; a thousand and one new fantasy series of which I apparently have only the first book. Wearing a plain brown v-neck shirt and jean shorts. blah. Planning On leaving to catch the bus for my GRE prep session in about 35 minutes or so, and then wandering ahead of time around that old decayed cistern and path amongst the trees. It's hot out today though. ick. Buying Well... I just kind've bought a computer. Used, desktop, $150 (score! okay, gods, it'll make things tough, but it's worth it). And hair dye--7 bottles for $20, very nice. I need to go grocery shopping soon, so there's that. Selling: A microwave (half-spoken for by the mythical Katy's Brother); 4 movies (LOTR, happy gilmore) Feeling sore throat. It must be humid or dry or something today. gah, cursed weather. Other than that, I'm feeling overloaded. I have not made nearly enough progress on my research, and I won't really have free time today to do so. Or much on Sunday either. So that leaves me Monday again. Watching things I would watch if I had the time: the last of Firefly; Jyu Oh Sei (all over again); Ergo Proxy (all over again); Black Lagoon seasons 1 and 2 (all over again); Mushishi; that Korean series with the dragon woman that Louise keeps mentioning; all of Star Wars (including the new three movies, which I haven't seen much of); the entirety of Inuyasha (only if I can get a good sub/dub; and I was thinking about doing this over the school year. Inuyasha as my reward for studying well. I despair to think it'd work); Pitch Black; cut scenes from Genji cause it's cool. |

Tis a Nano novel) ***Book of Whispers part 1 (Does not jive at all with part 2; needs to be rewritten to fit and to have less suckage) ***Book of Whispers part 2 (Needs some rehaul editing, needs some loose ends tied up, needs to fit) ***Book of Whispers part 3 (Needs to be finished... then needs to die o.o Not sure if I need a third part in the series) ***Dium's Story (Needs a point, progress, anything... needs to be integrated into Tbook1, since that is what it is a part of, mainly) ***Trio Story with Jackie and Louise (Maybe we should get together and work on this, guys) ***Demon Story (This is working out pretty good so far. I like the plot, it's a bit convoluted, and the characters are interesting) ***New Witch Story (It's only 30 pages long, dang) ***Dragon's Voices (This has SO much potential! wee!) | |
