And we have a new blog layout! how pretty! The picture is from Volume 3 of Shin Angyo Onshi, a manga I'm reading... it's a pretty dark manga so the whole warm attitude of this picture is a bit misleading. The room is starting to look bare but it isn't completely done yet. I still have to do my various statues and picture frames, my dvds, ps2, and snes, a dozen textbooks, some batteries, and some miscellaneous desk items, and various things from my closet. And all my clothes, but I anticipate most of those being packed in the three suitcases for the trip. I plan to bring a lot of stuff with me on the trip. Part of my rationale is that Katie doesn't get free until the 23rd, but Robin's done being free on the 21st. So I'll have a whole day to myself, at least. So, lots of books, and my laptop, and some movies, will all accompany me on the journey to visit people. Things that I still need to do: finish packing get telescope fixed arrange august 12th thing with peeps in lab find out about rooming, trip for Abby from astro lab arrange conference trip such that I don't have to bring anyone down. make maps for my trip finish cleaning get stefi's music off her computer for said trip finish paper! I guess I'll send the edited version to my mentor with a reminder type up Wiscon stuff! (aaaagh I'm so behind in this) I want to write, but I've been very restless. Maybe I will watch all of Star Wars, or the Matrix, or Xmen, or LotR.... .... too many fun things to do, not enough time. |
