- I forgot to renew/send in my robert c. byrd scholarship app, or even postpone it (SHITSHITSHIT) so I sent them an email. We'll see what they say. - I tried to "get organized" all day... found my organizing from the inside out book, read some of it, and decided it would have to wait until I moved in (oh well) - Packed 15 boxes (yay!) and a large duffle bag (so heavy I might have to leave it for the movers). My shelves are mostly cleared, but I'm still unsure as to whether the six or so boxes I have left will be enough. Worst case scenario? I stop at Ragstock and take all their weird boxes. It's a pity I left those computer boxes from work - Got my fall work schedule--all mornings (yay! er, I mean, ew... I mean... uh...)... I have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, it's good to have something that'll get me up and going early. On the other hand, will I focus in the morning? will I get stuff done? and what about my late night schedule? I miss being a night person - Arranged for my second Uhaul (yay!) and sort've almost hired a second mover (yay!), but realized I am probably going to have to drive the Uhaul myself (SHITSHITSHIT)... and that parking is going to be HELL around my current apartment building (double shitshitshit) - Am down to needing to pack: posters, dvds, telescope, guinea pig stuff, pictures, miscellaneous shelf items, clothes, and shoes (hey, this is pretty good) - I have too goddamned many books. But I love them all. *sigh* - Tomorrow is full of errands. In addition, my apartment peeps are coming by to inspect the carpeting and paint. This means I should vacuum before they get here. Which means I need to find the floor. Which means more packing, and cleaning. AGH! -I should really go into work, type up those stories for Wiscon, and finish editing my paper! but this moving stuff is taking up lots of time -I've heard from Katie a lot lately which has been pretty awesome. -I hung out with Louise and Patrick on Friday and Saturday (and a very little bit of Sunday). We had a movie marathon, went shopping, and did all sorts of entertaining things (yay!!!) |
