Things in which I am involved: Quantum Solar System Astro Poetry Workshop Women's Health My Lab exercising living in an apartment hanging out with my family Being Tutored Library Work SciFi Club Geek.Kon Planning Committee Physics Club Women in Physics Program Writing Critique Group Procrastination McNair TRIO ... this is problematic. I literally don't have enough time at night to get stuff done. I know it's ideal to ignore Procrastination as if I weren't involved in it, but unfortunately I apparently can't, so I should account for it. The problem is, the first nine items on the list are things I can't get rid of, ever. And the rest of them, I don't want to get rid of. But frankly, I don't have enough time. These look like small things; usually Physics Club requires an hour's worth of work from me. But in truth these things take up a LOT of time! there's planning, coordinating, contacting, and acting. The acting is momentary, but the planning, coordinating, and contacting takes up hours each week. Even McNair and TRIO add their own stresses how can I balance all this? I don't know. And I haven't known. And I haven't learned over the past THREE YEARS. Is it impossible? I don't think it's impossible. I do think I need to cut back some. But some things will be cut back as soon as they get settled, and it's the now when they're getting settled. Is it enough that is being cut back? Well in October I'll be free of Geek.Kon; once Tutoring is set up, that won't require anything more than action; in theory once the Women in Physics Program is set up, that won't require more than action.... I don't know. And it would really kill me to drop things. Scifi Club is my social time! Writing Critique group is sporadic but it fosters my growth as a writer! McNair and TRIO will help me get into Grad school. gaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! |

***Tbook1 (Time and Chaos, needs a new name, needs to be edited) ***Book of Sun (Just needs to be edited. Tis a Nano novel) ***Book of Whispers part 1 (Does not jive at all with part 2; needs to be rewritten to fit and to have less suckage) ***Book of Whispers part 2 (Needs some rehaul editing, needs some loose ends tied up, needs to fit) ***Book of Whispers part 3 (Needs to be finished... then needs to die o.o Not sure if I need a third part in the series) ***Dium's Story (Needs a point, progress, anything... needs to be integrated into Tbook1, since that is what it is a part of, mainly) ***Trio Story with Jackie and Louise (Maybe we should get together and work on this, guys) ***Demon Story (This is working out pretty good so far. I like the plot, it's a bit convoluted, and the characters are interesting) ***New Witch Story (It's only 30 pages long, dang) ***Dragon's Voices (This has SO much potential! wee!) | |
